MOGGLAN SHRAVASTI (b.1962) Has obtained S.S.C, A.T.D, GD Art Painting Diploma from A.Ed from Sir J.J.School of Art Mumbai. Has won several awards: 1985 Kala Deep stood 1st at the Sketch Club J.J.School of Art Mumbai, 1988 Bharat Kala Parishad Hyderabad , 1989 LVG Kulkarni Award, 1990 LVG Kulkarni Award & 1st award at All India Fine Art and Crafts Society New Delhi, 1991 Mahakousal Kala Parishad Raipur, 1992 LVG Kulkarni award & the Hyderabad Art Society, 1993 The Hyderabad Art Society, Dr Bhausaheb Deshmukh Art Academy award, & 7th South Central Zone Cultural Centre Nagpur, 1994 All India fine Art Society Vijapur, V.V.Oak Pune, & State Art Exhibitions of Maharahtra, 1995 LVG Kulkarni award, 1996 The Art Society of India Mumbai, 1997 All India Art Society New Delhi scholarship, 1998 The Indian Academy of Fine Arts Amritsar, 1999 Vidarbha Sahitya Sangh Nagpur & South Central Zone Cultural Centre Nagpur, 2000 The Art Society of India Mumbai & 2002 State Art Exhibition of Maharashtra. He has held his solo show at Shrusthi Art Gallery Aurangabad. Has participated in several group shows Welcome 2000 at Jehangir Art Gallery & the Mobile Creches show at Gallery Beyond Mumbai in 2005. Presently a lecturer of Drawing and Painting at Sir J.J.School of Arts Mumbai. In 2006 participated in "Ye Hai Mumbai Meri Jaan" a group show of 21 young artists from Mumbai at Lalit Kala Academy and Art Konsult New Delhi. Participated in "Configuration" at Gallery Beyond, Mumbai. "Joie de Vivre" fund raiser for SAVE the Children India & Mobile Creches at Gallery Beyond Mumbai in 2008. Participated in a group show "A Gathering" at Gallery Beyond, Mumbai in 2008."Samboidhi" solo show at Jehangir Art gallery, Mumbai in 2009. Participated in the Le Royal Meridien Workshop in 2008. He lives and works in Mumbai.
