Anand Panchal was born in 1973 at Latur, in Aurangabad, he graduated in 1997 with G.D.Art (Drawing & Painting) from the Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalaya, Pune, with a first class and stood second in the State of Maharashtra.He got his Diploma in 1998 in Art Education from the Sir J.J.School of Art, Mumbai. Anand has had several group shows and a solo show in Singapore. Participated in the Monsoon Show in 1996, 1997 and 1998. He held his first solo show at the held a solo show at Crimson Art Gallery, Bangalore, 1999. Followed by at the Jehangir Art gallery in 2001, Mumbai; at the Nehru Centre 2001 Mumbai. Participated in the "Harmony'' show in 2001 at Mumbai. Participated in the Saffron Art.com Auction held in Hong Kong. Participated in the Kala Ghoda Festival in 2000, 2001 and 2002.Also participated in the Save the Children Auction, conducted by Bowring's in October 2001 at Delhi and in January 2002 at Mumbai. Has held a solo show at Gallery Om, 2002 at Delhi. Solo show ? "Durga" at the Hacienda Art Gallery, Mumbai, 2002 Participated in the American School Auction held in Mumbai in 2002. Also participated in a group show for Akanksha in Mumbai in 2002 and 2003. In 2003 participated in Save the Children Auction in Jehangir Art Gallery in Mumbai conducted by Bowring's. Attended two camps: at Le Royal Meridien and the Oberoi Art Camp, Mumbai organized by Gallery Beyond and Gallery Art Resource Trust in June and July 2003. Participated in a group show organized in aid of Parkinson's disease patients. Solo show organized by Tao Art Gallery and Gallery Beyond, Mumbai in November 2003. Also participated in Kal Aaj aur Kal a group show organized by Gallery Beyond.com at the Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai. He lives and works in Mumbai.
