IRENA VEZIN Born in Germany, Irena Vezin travelled colourful routes in search of her individual artistic expression. With her varied career graph she has seen and experienced many different situations, all of which find their way into her current paintings. Working and living in various countries like Canada, Spain and India, she developed and refined her receptivity for the unknown in thought, feelings and beliefs. After her training in visual communication - photography - under Professor Ulrich Mack in Hamburg/Germany, she made her mark as an artist and as a successful photojournalist. Extensive and deep encounters of photographic reality, to show the 'hidden obvious' behind the object, led her to painting. Following her training as a painter under the Vietnamese artist Mega, in India, she ventured into the pictorial world of emotions and ideas pursuing her quest to visualise the seemingly invisible in her paintings. Irena Vezin lives and works in Hamburg/Germany and Goa /India, and exhibits her paintings in both countries.
