FAWAD TAMKANAT was bornin 1962. a native of Hyderabad secured a Bachelor%u2019s and a Master's degree in Fine Arts from JNTU and Central University respectively. He won the University Gold Medals in both the courses. He has exhibited his works in-group and solo shows right from the days of his graduation. Several Galleries in Hyderabad and other major cities of India have put his works on display. He has also participated in-group shows in New York, Singapore and Hong Kong and has a solo show in Denmark - Vingtsed center to his credit. He has participated in "Tide 96" - International Installation Workshop in Denmark and worked a few months in Graphic Studio in Europe with renowned printmakers. He participated in graphics and painting workshops along with senior contemporary Indian Artists. He has been the 43 recipient of Cultural Scholarship from Ministry of Human Resources Development. His works are on display at Organizations of repute such as National Gallery of Modern Art; Lalit Kala Academy - CCMB, HYD; Hyderabad Central University; Roshan Fine Arts (Saudi Arabia): Vingsted Center (Denmark) Many art lovers over the world have some of his paintings. He lives and works in Hyderabad.
