Born in 1965 at Rewa, Madhya Pradesh. A B.Com. Graduate who took to painting in 1990 on a Bharat Bhavan Scholarship and went on to M.S. University of Baroda to graduate (Diploma) in painting and graphics, 1992. Has held Solo shows in 1992 at Baroda Fine Arts Faculty, 1993- Searock Sheraton, Mumbai Srishti Art Gallery, Delhi; 1995 at Nehru Centre Art Gallery, Mumbai and Shridharani Art Gallery, Delhi; 2000 at Nehru Art Gallery, Mumbai; 2001 at Prithvi Art Gallery, Mumbai and Shridharani Art Gallery, Delhi. He has participated in several group shows. Has participated in a group show at Nehru Centre, Mumbai 1999; Participated in group shows 1991 A.I.F.A.C.S. Exhibition, Delhi; 1992 at Baroda - Fine Arts Faculty, Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai, National Exhibition, Lalit Kala Academy, Delhi; 1993 at Contemporary Art Gallery, Ahmedabad; 1994 at Westminster Art Gallery, Bangalore; 1995 at Jehangir Art Gallery and Cymroza Art Gallery, Mumbai; 1999 "Vadodra Perspective'', Nehru Art Gallery, by GalleryBeyond.com; 2000 at Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai; 2001 participated in the group show "Saviour" at Hacienda, Mumbai; 2002 participated in the Save the Children Auction, conducted by Bowring's at Mumbai. STATEMENT Art for me is a deeply feel personal experience. My paintings are a response evoked by the society. There are reflections of my thoughts.
