Sanjeev Sonpimpare

SANJEEV SONPIMPARE( b.1969) born in Chandrapur, Maharashtra, finished B.F.A (Painting) from Sir J.J.School of Arts, Mumbai in 1993, International Conference on Art, theory and practice, in 1998 & International Conference on "Postmodernism and its relevance in Indian context", in 1997. Has won the Solomon Abraham first prize for watercolor portraiture, 1992 & UNESCO-ASCHBERG award residency artists work Program at the Irish Museum of Modern Art, Dublin, Ireland 2000. His solo exhibitions include "Recycled", The Birla Academy of Art & Culture Gallery, Mumbai 1998-99, Studios Irish Museum of Modern Art Dublin, Ireland 2000 & "Skeptics" at the Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai by Gallery Beyond in 2004.
